How much water can we feasibly trap and store on from an average sized roof area?
Using average rainfall in the City of Johannesburg where GreenCon is headquartered we have calculated the amount of water an average house could feasibly trap, filter, use and recycle into there irrigation system. According to the South African Weather Service the average rainfall for JHB is 713MM, there fore on a flat roof surface of 200m2 would collect an average total of 14 500litres.
