This system runs off only solar energy, even the pump that reticulates the water is run by a PV panel. 

Cold water is lifted from the bottom (blue line above) of the geyser and pumped through the collector, which uses the suns energy to heat the water. The hot water is then delivered back into the geyser (red line)

Position of the collector is always as true to noth as possible. 

The advantage with this Job is that the whole system was intalled on a flat roof. But the same system can be installed on angled roof with the geyser positioned on the rafters as normally found.
